Deals at Taco Bell, Taco John's and more

Taco Bell is offering $1 deals all day on National Taco Day, which officially falls on Taco Tuesday. This year that is October 1st, but there are also offers for the OG date, October 4th.

National Taco Day, which opens the month on October 1st, is particularly spicy because it also falls on a Tuesday – Taco Tuesday.

The tortilla-filled celebration came together earlier this month when Taco Bell and the National Day Calendar announced that National Taco Day, previously celebrated on October 4th each year, would henceforth take place on the first Tuesday of October.

The opportunity came after Taco John's relinquished its “Taco Tuesday” trademark amid disputes over legal ownership of the name – and after Taco Bell launched an online petition to release the trademark so all restaurants could use it.

“For years we have celebrated National Taco Day on October 4th, but we always felt there was a greater opportunity to align it with something even more special – Taco Tuesday,” said Marlo Anderson, founder of the National Day Calendar, back then. This combination creates “the Taco Tuesday of all Taco Tuesdays,” he said.

This year there are apparently taco deals on both October 1st and 4th and even all month long. Here you can find out where and how you can close the deals.
