NFL Week 4 Weather Conditions (Fantasy Football)

Fortunately, week 3 ended without any major weather influences. There was light rain during a few games, but nothing major that affected those sweet fantasy points. Will this weekend be the same? Read below along with Matt DiSorbo's article “Whether Weather Really Matters” to find out how best to put together your lineup this week!

Although Hurricane Helene won't have a major impact on fantasy football, it is causing major destruction and problems in the Southeast. If you are in the affected area, please stay safe.

Play in the early afternoon

Los Angeles Rams @ Chicago Bears

LOW impact. There is a small chance of some showers, but it is not expected to have a major impact. Wind will be the biggest issue in play, with sustained winds in the low teens and gusts into the low 20s. Expect these winds to affect the kicking game more than anything else. High temperatures in the lower 70s.

Minnesota Vikings @ Green Bay Packers

LOW impact. It's going to be a great day of football in Green Bay. Sunny skies, single digit winds and game time temperatures in the mid 70s.

Denver Broncos @ New York Jets

LOW impact. There is a 20% chance of rain throughout the game, but looking at the expected amount of rain, that won't be enough to have a big impact. Winds in the single digits and temperatures in the low 70s.

Philadelphia Eagles @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

LOW impact. There will be showers in and around Tampa throughout the game. There is a 60% chance of rain and there may be a few isolated thunderstorms in the second half. If it rains over the stadium, you have to assume that it will be short-lived. I don't expect it to have much of an impact on players. Winds will be in the low teens with high temperatures in the low 90s.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Carolina Panthers

LOW impact. It's shaping up to be a very nice day in Charlotte. Winds in the single digits and high temperatures in the low 80s. Perfect conditions for Andy Dalton's revenge game.

Late afternoon games

New England Patriots @ San Francisco 49ers

LOW impact. Sunny with highs in the mid 70s, winds blowing in the low teens. Start all players with full confidence (in the weather).

Sunday night game

Buffalo Bills @ Baltimore Ravens

MEDIUM impact. Rain is expected around Baltimore during game time, currently there is a 60% chance of rain. Winds will also be in the low teens and may gust into the upper teens. The kickers and pass catchers have the greatest influence. All in all, Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen probably won't be affected by the weather, so don't bench them because of rain.

Monday night game

Tennessee Titans @ Miami Dolphins

LOW impact. There is a small chance of rain and thunderstorms during the game, but I'm not worried about it. Winds will be in the single digits and temperatures will be in the low 80s.

The weather is a dynamic thing and can change! Keep an eye on your local weather source before kickoff to see if anything changes significantly. Good luck!
